INSTALLATIONS

real vs manufactured identities

Julianne Rose is a contemporary artist who reflects on the frontier between the real self and the manufactured identities in consumer driven societies. She creates installations that explore the themes of identity, womanhood and childhood. Rose’s works often incorporate photographs, objects and personal mementos, which she combines to create intricate and thought-provoking installations.

Through her installations, Julianne Rose explores the ways in which our memories and experiences shape our identities. She also raises important questions about how children are affected by consumerism in contemporary society.

These installations offer a powerful commentary on the complex and often contradictory nature of identity. The artist explores the confusion between natural and manufactured identities in contemporary societies and the ways in which our past experiences continue to shape us in the present.
