LIVINGROOM is a performance by Julianne Rose and Jeff Manzetti, a couple of artists, accompanied by their 2 children, who open their home/photo-studio and invite the public to experience the confrontation of the artist’s workspace with that of private family life.

This “a mise en abime of an ordinary space and an extra-ordinary space” creates a sensation of excitement and curiosity, the possibility of peeking behind closed doors. The public visits the studio, where series of photos and videos are exhibited , guided by an acting gallerist (Sebastien Zongero) Simultaneously the viewer feels an uncomfortable sensation of involuntary voyeurism as he/she observes the artists in all intimacy, through a one way mirror in the form of a “camera obscura” installation.
